How long would you wait to see a doctor?
Thirty minutes? Thirty days? How about three months or more?!

At First Care, we believe that as soon as you make a doctor's appointment, you start waiting. To make matters worse, when your appointment time finally arrives, you may have to wait even longer ... in the lobby ... reading stale and tattered Ladies Home Journal magazines.

We think you have better things to do with your time. Which is precisely why we've thrown out the appointment book at First Care for routine office visits. Except for certain procedures, you do not need an appointment with us. Just walk in, speak with the receptionist and you will be seen.

Our goal is to see every patient within 30 minutes of their arrival. However, during flu season and other periods of heavy patient volume, this time may be delayed slightly. But, even then, we are always respectful of the time of our patients.

There are many distractions involved in running a medical practice but each of our employees knows that the most important person in their day is the patient in our office. At First Care, we realize that your time is just as valuable as ours.

When an appointment is necessary...

If you're having a complete physical examination, a bone densitometry scan, or visiting our spa medicine center, we do make appointments. You can call us anytime at (803) 736-2530 to schedule one. You can also request an appointment using the form below. Simply tell us your preference for a date and time and we will confirm it with you. The more notice you give us, the better chance we can meet your requested time.

Once we receive your appointment request, we will call or e-mail you to confirm the exact time. It's as easy a clicking your mouse. Try it!
